Happy Earth Day Weekend!

Sprout had a fantastic Earth Day weekend with volunteers from Lyons Community School, The Green School, and New York Cares!

Lots of neighbors stopped by to ask about the project.
Radish sprouts

Together we built and filled 10 raised beds.

The finished product!
We cannot thank all of the volunteers enough who came out to do the heavy lifting and all of our partners who made this project possible:

Open Space Institute: Citizen Action Program
The Green School
Lyons Community School
Citizens Committee for NYC
NYC Parks: GreenThumb
Build It Green!NYC:  BIG!Blooms
New York Cares

Here are a few photos from the day.  Additional photos are on our Facebook page.
